About Us

Tim and Becky Cron married in Stanley in August of  2001 at the Sawtooth Meditation Chapel.  Less than two years later, in 2003, intent on pursuing a “small business adventure” in this mountain hamlet, they purchased Stanley Baking Co., a bakery and café just down the street from where they got hitched.  “The Bakery” (as it is commonly known,) continues to this day to be the happening place in Stanley for breakfast, lunch, coffee, espresso, and delicious homemade baked goods.  It is common to see both Becky and Tim at work in the Bakery’s kitchen; Becky, perfecting her famous scones or cinnamon rolls and Tim, flipping Oatmeal pancakes.

Kelli Kerns has a great deal of experience working in restaurants.  Her warm personality and infectious smile make her a natural in the hospitality business.  She has a passion for life and it shows.  Both Kelli and Becky grew up in Eugene, Oregon, and gravitated to Idaho in the early nineties because of their love of skiing.

In 2004, Tim and Becky had their first look at the Sawtooth Hotel on a frigid winter’s day.  Becky immediately saw the potential in the historic building.  Tim was easily convinced.  Kelli came aboard.  Together, they went for it.  We hope you like it….
